everyone has a question. if you can discover that question, you can understand that individuals motives. that question changes throughout a person’s life as the variables change. money, time, dependents, health, etc.
my questions over time:
question: why do religions exist?
answer: economic and social networks. dna transfer. we aren’t in the drivers seat, dna is.
question: why are we here?
answer: fermi paradox. optimistic nihilism. do cool shit. learn interesting things.
question: is there a better system?
answer: more questions. economically? socially? scientifically? technologically? tbd.
question: how big is space?
answer: really big. too much thinking leads to depression. see: ‘why are we here?’
